The Louisiana Judicial College - the best of bench and bar

The Louisiana Judicial College is the judicial education branch of the Louisiana Supreme Court, and it's an impressive institution. It provides educational resources for judges and lawyers alike, and draws on a very diverse group of judges and lawyers to deliver topical content at their CLE events. It has a great staff and its programs are well done.
The 2019 Evidence and Procedure Seminar was typical. Co-sponsored by the Louisiana Association for Justice, a common theme throughout this year's seminar concerned the emerging challenges of digital evidence. All of the seminar material is publicly shared and available here. Topics included the authentication of digital evidence, digital evidence and discovery, juries and social media, and the HITECH Act. 
It was a privilege to deliver 1.25 hours of digital evidence and discovery CLE at this year's program along with Jed Cain of Herman, Herman, & Katz. Jed's firm provides leadership to some of the largest and most challenging complex litigation matters in the MDL system. They're very good at what they do. 
We learned a lot, as we always do, and met a lot of nice folks.
